Stationary Concrete Pump

What Is a Stationary Concrete Pump?

A stationary concrete pump is a specialized machine engineered to transport concrete to specific locations, particularly in construction settings.

This pump is instrumental in enabling uniform concrete placement in challenging areas like high-rise buildings and bridges, where direct access may be limited. It consists of essential components like a concrete suction device, a concrete pumping unit, and concrete pipelines. The suction device, typically a hopper or belt conveyor, draws in the concrete. The pumping unit, which may be hydraulic or screw-type, pressurizes and moves the concrete through the system. The pipelines used for transporting the concrete are generally made of durable steel.

Stationary concrete pumps are available in two main variations: engine-powered and electric-powered. The engine-powered pumps offer flexibility and can operate in diverse locations, while electric-powered pumps have the advantages of lower noise levels and zero exhaust emissions, making them environmentally friendly.
