Gas Pipes

What Is a Gas Pipe?

A gas pipe refers to a pipe or tube used to supply gas. It is employed for transporting various gases such as high-purity oxygen, high-purity nitrogen, toxic gases, flammable gases, exhaust gases, and more.

While white gas pipes were commonly used in the past, they are no longer used for buried applications due to their susceptibility to corrosion and gas leaks. Instead, materials like polyethylene pipes (PE pipes) and rigid polyvinyl chloride-coated steel pipes (PLS pipes) are now widely used. However, white gas pipes are still utilized for exposed indoor sections as they are less prone to corrosion.

When transferring gas at high pressure, adjustments in angles are made at connection points to prevent concentration of pressure.
