What Is a Video Inspection Camera?
A video inspection camera is a camera used for visual access to internal or confined spaces to conduct inspections or surveillance.
Its primary purpose is to enable inspection in places that are not visible to the naked eye or difficult to access. A small camera is mounted on the tip of a flexible cable, which is inserted into typically hard-to-reach places for inspection.
Video inspection cameras are used in various applications such as inspecting machine parts, pipelines, plumbing, engines, electronic equipment, and the interiors of buildings. For example, in manufacturing, they are utilized to detect defects in assembly lines, while in construction, they are used for internal inspections of pipes and walls. Additionally, in the medical field, they are employed as endoscopes to examine the interior of a patient’s body.
