CPVC Pipe

What Is a CPVC Pipe?

CPVC pipe, made from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), is a type of piping material primarily used in hot water supply and fire protection systems.

This pipe stands out for its high heat resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures 20°C to 40°C higher than standard PVC pipes. It also boasts excellent chemical resistance, making it resilient against a wide range of substances, including acids and alkalis. Additionally, its high impact resistance enhances its durability, protecting it from physical damage. CPVC pipes can be easily installed, often using solvent-type adhesives similar to those used for PVC pipes.

Aside from hot water and fire protection systems, CPVC pipes are utilized in various applications such as chemical plant piping, electrical wiring conduits, and others. Their superior qualities make them a dependable choice in settings involving high-temperature fluids or harsh chemicals.
