Temperature Control Valve

What Is a Temperature Control Valve?

Temperature control valves are valves that regulate the flow of two substances at different temperatures to maintain a constant temperature. Known as temperature regulating valves, they can be electric, pneumatic, or self-operating. These valves detect temperature changes and control the flow of substances to maintain a stable temperature.

There are two main types: two-way valves, which adjust the flow of one substance, and three-way valves, which adjust the ratio of substances from both sides. Commonly used in ship engines and air conditioning systems, these valves help maintain optimal temperatures, preventing abnormal wear and degradation of lubricating oil.
