Battery Isolators

What Is a Battery Isolator?

A Battery Isolator is a device specifically designed to manage and maintain the charge of multiple battery systems in vehicles. Their primary function is to prevent voltage drop in the main battery while simultaneously charging secondary batteries.

These isolators ensure that both the main and auxiliary batteries receive an appropriate power supply. In the event of a voltage drop in the main battery, the isolator prioritizes its charging to ensure uninterrupted operation. Equipped with a reverse flow prevention feature, it also prevents the main battery from discharging unintentionally.

Particularly useful in vehicles like RVs, boats, and emergency vehicles, battery isolators enable the charging of the batteries while the vehicle is in motion, thus preventing power shortages during extended use or in critical situations.
