Pull Clamp

What Is a Pull Clamp?

A pull clamp is a tool used for retracting a pull bolt from a screw hole to connect and secure various objects.

Commonly employed in scaffolding construction and on construction sites, clamps function by gripping and securing objects through tightening with screws. In the realm of car body maintenance, pull clamps crafted from impact-resistant steel are utilized. These clamps are often coated to prevent corrosion, thereby extending their usability.

One variant, the pull stud clamp, incorporates an air blow feature to clear foreign material from the pull bolt and uses hydraulic action to retract the pull bolt for secure fastening. High-power pull clamps, another type, are used in changing pallet setups in combination with positioning pins. Cylinder sensors may also be integrated into these clamps to confirm their operational status.
