What Is a Welding Gun?
A welding gun is a type of spot-welding machine.
Also known as a welding torch, it is widely used in various fields, including the automotive industry, for welding car bodies and steel furniture. Welding guns for automobiles, in particular, have multi-jointed arms, enabling precise welding operations.
Types of welding guns include C guns and X guns of servo spot guns, as well as portable guns. The C gun includes the S type, which features optimal pressure settings, low noise, pollution-free design, and reduced cycle times through synchronized operation with robots; the KR type; a lightweight compact type; and a type for welding aluminum.
The X gun comes in various types like the reduction gear type, KR type direct drive, lightweight compact type, and high-pressure lightweight reduction gear type, sharing similar features with the C gun. Portable guns offer a wide variety of models to suit different welding parts and reduce operator workload with excellent operability.
