What Is a Centering Tool?
Centering tools are used to determine angles and positioning of joints, especially in pipe joints and pipe processing. Often made from durable materials like stainless steel, they resist damage.
These tools streamline tasks such as determining angles, marking joints, positioning points within pipes or tanks, setting centerlines, laying out key grooves, and calculating alignment and inclination. By loosening the hexagonal nut and tapping with a hammer, marked fixed points can be left on pipes.
