Concrete Hopper

What Is a Concrete Hopper?

Concrete hoppers are devices designed for the transportation and containment of concrete. These hoppers are typically made of steel and feature a funnel-like shape, with a wide opening at the top for pouring in concrete, which then narrows down towards the bottom. Once filled with concrete, the material flows out through openings located at the bottom or sides of the hopper.

In concrete manufacturing, hoppers are connected to concrete mixers or pumps to facilitate the supply of concrete. On construction sites, they are often attached to cranes or lifts, playing a crucial role in injecting concrete into structural components of buildings, especially those at elevated positions.
