What Is a Meat Dicer?

A meat dicer is a kitchen appliance designed for cutting large pieces of meat, such as beef or pork, into smaller, more manageable sizes.

The manual version of a meat dicer typically includes a blade mounted on a board, functioning similarly to a guillotine. When the blade is lowered, it slices through the meat, making it effective for cutting through tough or frozen ingredients. In contrast, the electric meat dicer features a rotating blade, usually 220 to 300 mm in diameter, that automatically cuts the meat into uniform pieces, thereby reducing the need for manual effort.

Larger models of meat dicers, often used in food processing plants and restaurants can slice large quantities of meat automatically. These models usually incorporate a conveyor belt system for efficient processing.
