What Is UHMWPE?
UHMWPE, standing for ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, is a high-density polyethylene variant noted for its excellent durability. It’s known for high abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, making it a widely used material in various industries.
UHMWPE, sometimes referred to as UHMW or NuLite (a trade name), is essentially the same substance, with variations in naming due to abbreviations or branding.
