What Are Thermal Mass Flow Meters?
Thermal mass flow meters are excellent devices used to measure the mass flow rate of fluids.
These meters primarily operate on two principles. In the thermal dispersion type, the meter exposes a fluid to a thermal beam and calculates the mass flow rate based on temperature changes. In the thermal exchange type, it measures the mass flow rate by exchanging heat with the fluid through a heat exchanger and observing temperature changes. Thermal mass flow meters have wide-ranging applications in industries such as chemical and pharmaceuticals, fuel and energy, and environmental and sanitation. They are known for their high accuracy, compatibility with a wide range of fluids, and the capability for remote monitoring.
