Sandwich Panel

What Is a Sandwich Panel?

Sandwich panels are composite materials used in architectural structures, such as exterior roofs or walls.

They typically consist of two outer panels enclosing an insulation material like polyurethane, polyisocyanurate, or polystyrene. The outer panels are often made from durable materials such as steel sheets, aluminum, plywood, fiberglass reinforced plastic, or concrete, providing enhanced durability, insulation, and structural strength.

Used for exterior insulation, waterproofing, or interior finishing in buildings, sandwich panels are also prevalent in refrigerators and cold storage facilities. Their high insulation properties help maintain stable internal temperatures and contribute to energy conservation.
