What Is a Textile Printing Machine?
A textile printing machine, also known as a textile printer, specializes in printing images or text directly onto fabrics.
There are mainly two printing methods: sublimation transfer printing and direct printing. Sublimation transfer printing, which uses heat to transfer ink onto fabric, is known for producing vibrant and long-lasting prints. In contrast, direct printing applies ink directly onto the fabric, creating prints that integrate well with the fabric’s texture, though they may have slightly less color fastness.
Textile printers are widely used in creating sportswear, apparel, bedding, curtains, bags, hats, and other fabric items. Sublimation transfer printers are favored for their bright, durable colors, while direct printers are preferred when maintaining the fabric’s natural texture is key to the design aesthetic.
