Glass cutting wheels are tools used for smoothing the surfaces of cut glass. When glass is cut, its edges become sharp and potentially hazardous. These tools are employed to neatly finish such edges, reducing the risk of injury. Glass cutting wheels are also versatile enough for cutting other hard materials besides glass.
Some glass cutting wheels are surfaced with diamond abrasive grains, allowing them to effectively cut not only glass but also ceramics and marble. However, these tools are not suitable for cutting metals.
