What Is Ember?
Ember® (Ember® MC) is a lawn insecticide with permethrin as its active ingredient, a type of pyrethroid compound. In its composition, Ember® contains water and organic solvents, which make up about 90% of its total contents.
Ember® is a liquid microcapsule formulation. The microcapsule form allows for reduced fish toxicity and chemical damage while enhancing residual efficacy and rain resistance post-application. Key features of Ember® include its prolonged insecticidal effect and relative environmental friendliness.
Uses of Ember
Ember® is primarily used as a turf insecticide, often on golf course turf.
To apply Ember®, it should first be diluted at a ratio of 500 to 2,000 times. The diluted solution is then applied directly to the turf.
Ember® targets pests such as moths and threadworms.
Important precautions for using Ember® include the timing of application and adherence to maximum usage limits. It should be applied in the early stages of pest infestation and used no more than three times.
