What Is Copper Paste?
Copper paste is a material consisting of finely dispersed copper particles in a liquid medium.
This paste includes copper particles for conductivity, a carrier for dispersion, and additives for stability and viscosity. It’s widely used in electronics for circuits and cables, construction and civil engineering for waterproofing and anti-corrosion, and in medical devices and cosmetics. The manufacturing involves grinding copper particles, mixing them with a carrier, and adding additives to achieve the correct paste form.
Notable for its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as heat resistance, copper paste may also provide weather resistance and antimicrobial features. However, it requires careful handling due to flammability and potential skin irritation risks.
