High-Temperature Adhesive

What Is a High-Temperature Adhesive?

High-temperature adhesive is specially formulated to retain its bonding capabilities in high-temperature environments. There are multiple varieties of high-temperature adhesives, each with specific properties and temperature tolerances. Epoxy resin-based adhesives are known for their strong bonding strength and durability, capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from 180°C to 200°C. Silicone-based adhesives stand out for their superior heat and chemical resistance, suitable for temperatures from approximately -100°C to 250°C. Acrylic resin-based adhesives, recognized for their quick-drying and water-resistant properties, can endure temperatures from 150°C to 180°C. Rubber-based adhesives offer flexibility and are effective in temperatures ranging from 100°C to 150°C. Thermoplastic resin-based adhesives, which become malleable upon heating and solidify when cooled, are also employed in high-temperature applications.

These adhesives find extensive applications across a broad spectrum of industries, including electronics, medical equipment, manufacturing, and industrial machinery, providing critical bonding solutions in environments exposed to high temperatures.
