What Is Forging?
Forging involves heating metal to a pliable state and then shaping it under pressure, a process that enhances the metal’s crystalline structure and reduces impurities. This manufacturing technique produces components known for their superior strength and precision, making them ideal for critical applications in the automotive, aerospace, and construction industries.
The process is categorized into two types: hot forging and cold forging. Hot forging heats the metal to a point where it becomes easily malleable, facilitating the creation of complex shapes through molds or hammers, suitable for mass production.
