What Is an Analog Multimeter?
An analog multimeter is an electrical testing device designed to measure current, voltage, resistance, and other parameters. It is one of the two primary types of multimeters, the other being digital.
Unlike digital multimeters, which display readings on a digital screen, analog multimeters use a needle-mounted moving coil meter against a marked scale. The user reads measurements directly from this scale. While analog multimeters are generally considered less accurate than their digital counterparts and require more expertise to interpret, they remain a valuable tool in various electrical testing scenarios.
