Environmental Test Chamber

What Is an Environmental Test Chamber?

An environmental test chamber is a device capable of artificially controlling environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, pressure, vibration, shock, and noise.

The operating principle involves using control devices to artificially alter the environment within the chamber to regulate these conditions. Types of environmental test chambers include temperature test chambers, humidity test chambers, pressure test chambers, vibration test chambers, shock test chambers, and noise test chambers.

Utilized in manufacturing, research and development, and military applications, they are used for testing electronic components and automotive parts in manufacturing, evaluating new products and materials in research and development, and conducting durability tests on military aircraft and vessels in the military. The structure comprises of four elements: the chamber, control devices, measuring devices, and safety devices. Notably, they are essential for durability and reliability testing of products, capable of controlling various environmental conditions.
