What Is a Deep Socket?
A Deep Socket is a tool primarily used for tightening or loosening hexagonal heads, such as bolts or nuts.
Generally made of durable, high-strength, and wear-resistant alloy steels such as chrome vanadium steel or chrome molybdenum steel, Deep Sockets are designed with a hexagonal shape but are deeper in design compared to regular sockets.
Having a longer depth than regular sockets, they are suitable for use with long bolts or nuts. Additionally, Deep Sockets typically have thicker walls than regular sockets, providing durability and the ability to reach bolts or nuts in narrow spaces or deep holes that cannot be reached with regular sockets.
