What Is a Relay Module?
A Relay Module is a component often used in electronic systems to control electrical signals, particularly in coordination with microcontrollers.
Operated by an electromagnetic coil, it facilitates the switching of power in electrical contacts. This allows it to control high currents or voltages using only small currents or voltages. Relay Modules are primarily found in industrial automation systems, robotics, the automotive industry, and various other electronic devices where control of power and components is necessary.
Upon receiving a triggering signal, the Relay Module activates its internal switch, enabling it to either open or close another electrical circuit. This feature makes it an effective safety or control device. It can detect abnormal currents or voltages and adjust the power supply accordingly at the correct time. Thanks to its high reliability and critical role in electrical circuit control and protection, Relay Modules have become a staple in diverse electrical control applications.
