Hydraulic Lift

What Is a Hydraulic Lift?

A hydraulic lift is a device that utilizes hydraulic pressure to lift objects.

This device uses a liquid to transmit force and lift or move heavy objects. Typically, a hydraulic lift consists of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and fluid (usually oil). The working fluid is compressed by the pump, which then moves the piston inside the hydraulic cylinder. The movement of the piston creates pressure in the hydraulic cylinder, which serves as the force to lift heavy objects.

In the automotive industry, hydraulic lifts are used in car jacks and lifting systems for vehicle maintenance and repair operations. Additionally, hydraulic lifts are employed in construction sites for machinery such as cranes and hydraulic excavators.
