Epoxy Adhesive

What Is an Epoxy Adhesive?

Epoxy adhesive is a type of adhesive that is activated by mixing two components: an epoxy resin as the main ingredient and a hardening agent, typically a polyamide resin. Unlike standard adhesives that are ready to use directly from the container, Epoxy adhesive requires a mixing process to initiate a chemical reaction between the resin and the hardener.

This adhesive is known for its exceptional heat and water resistance, making it ideal for bonding a diverse range of materials, including metals and plastics. Due to its chemical hardening process, epoxy adhesive overcomes the common issue of weakening over time, as seen in traditional adhesives. It is also effective for tasks such as gap-filling.
