What Is a Disinfectant Stand?

Non-contact disinfectant stands mainly come in two types: foot-operated and motorized.

Foot-operated disinfectant stands dispense sanitizer when a user steps on a pedal. These stands are simple in design: stepping on the pedal mechanically activates a pump that sprays the disinfectant. Electric Disinfectant Stands
Electric disinfectant stands automatically dispense sanitizer upon detecting a person’s presence. They typically use an infrared sensor near the nozzle to detect a hand and trigger the spray. Some models integrate a display to show the user’s body temperature. Another type includes a camera at the top of the stand for facial recognition, enabling both disinfectant spraying and temperature measurement.

With increasing demand, there’s a wide array of disinfectant stands available. However, incidents such as children accidentally activating electric stands or being inadvertently sprayed by foot-operated stands have led to the development of safer, more user-friendly designs.
