What Is a Wrench Organizer?
Wrench organizers (racks) are used for storing wrenches used for maintenance and DIY of various machine products and for storage when in use. If wrenches are stored separately in a toolbox, it is difficult to find what you want when you want it. With a wrench organizer, you can arrange your wrenches efficiently for both storage and use. This allows you to quickly retrieve the tools you need whenever they are required.
A wrench organizer is primarily available in hold, rack, and magnetic types. The most suitable rack depends on your specific work needs when using pliers, and the contents may vary accordingly.
Uses of Wrench Organizers
If you have many types of wrenches, you can sort them by type and store them in a toolbox so that you can quickly access the wrench you want to use.
In addition to storing wrenches, those that are frequently used can be hung on the wall for easy access. In a machine repair shop, there are diverse parts to be repaired, bolt sizes, etc. By using wrench organizers, you can instantly find the size wrench you need and improve work efficiency.
If you use a wall-mounted type, you can also expect a “decorative” storage effect by arranging the wrenches in a particular order.
How to Choose Wrench Organizers
There are three types of wrench organizers: rack type, magnet type, and hold type.
For example, the rack type can accommodate various sizes. You have the option to choose the triangle type to store smaller wrenches on top if you frequently use the smaller sizes. Alternatively, you can opt for the inverted triangle type to store larger sizes first if you use them frequently, to meet your needs.
Rack Type
The rack type is designed to store wrenches by hooking both ends of the wrench to the rack and is triangular to accommodate various sizes.
Magnet Type
The magnet type is available in a panel shape or one in which the rack itself is magnetized and attached to a metal product. Both types are compact. One end of the wrench organizers is inserted into a gap in the rack and held in place by magnetic force.
Hold Type
The hold type stores wrenches between clips on either side of a bow or letter “L” shape. It can be used in either a toolbox or wall-mounted.
The choice of wrench organizers depends on where you want to store your wrenches. If you want to use it easily and quickly, you should choose the “wall-hanging type” or the “stick-on type” in which the magnetic part is attached to a metal product, the “stand type” when placing it on a workbench, the “storage type” when there are many wrenches, or the “stick-on type” if it is a metal drawer.
