What Is a Touch Screen Controller?
A touch screen controller is a device responsible for interpreting touch inputs on digital devices to execute specific actions or commands.
Found in smartphones, tablets, and other touch-enabled displays, this controller is composed of a transparent sensor panel, usually made of glass or plastic, and a specialized controller chip.
The process begins when a user touches the screen. The sensor panel detects the location and pressure of the touch, relaying this data to the controller chip. This chip then processes the information, translating the touch into commands that the device executes. It precisely identifies the nature of the touch, such as finger movements or gestures, and ensures the intended operation is carried out seamlessly.
